Anti-money laundering and know your customer policy
Policy statement
Exscend maintains strict compliance standards to prevent money laundering, terrorist financing, and other illegal financial activities. We operate under a strict zero-tolerance policy for financial crime and identity misrepresentation.
Know your customer procedures
We require all users to complete identity verification before granting access to asset allocation, deployment, or withdrawal features.
- Identity verification. Users must provide a valid government-issued identification document (such as a passport or driver’s license) and proof of residential address.
- Verification status. Accounts remain in a restricted state until compliance personnel successfully verify all submitted documentation.
- Data accuracy. Any discrepancy or suspected falsification within submitted documents will result in an immediate suspension of the account pending detailed investigation.
Transaction monitoring
Our compliance framework monitors all inbound and outbound transactions to identify anomalous patterns.
- Source of funds. We reserve the right to request documentation proving the legitimate source of any funds deposited into the platform.
- Sanction screening. All user identities are checked against global sanction lists, politically exposed persons (PEP) databases, and financial crime watchlists.
- Suspicious activity. Any transaction that triggers automated or manual risk thresholds will be frozen immediately for comprehensive compliance audit. Exscend will report verified suspicious activity to relevant financial intelligence authorities without prior notice to the user.
Know your customer (KYC) policy
Identity verification
Exscend requires identity verification before any capital can be withdrawn from the platform. This measure protects user assets, prevents unauthorized account access, and ensures platform integrity. You may explore the dashboard and deposit capital prior to verification, but withdrawals will remain restricted until this process is complete.
Required documentation
We strongly recommend you submit KYC details after registration. To complete your identity verification, you only need to provide:
- Proof of identity: A valid government-issued photo ID, such as a passport or driver’s license.
Compliance and review
- No account deletion: Your account will remain active even if you choose not to verify your identity immediately. However, some features will remain permanently locked until your documents are submitted and approved.
- Review timeline: Documents are typically reviewed within 24 hours.
- Data accuracy: The information on your photo ID must match your account registration details exactly. Providing inaccurate or altered documentation will result in an immediate account freeze and a manual compliance review.
